Duplicolor Hot Tires

Has anybody used Duplicolor Hot tires on their tires? I am considering it, but would like some feedback from users. Does it work? How long does it last? Worth the effort? Waste of money and time?

search over at moparts.  a guy there used some sort or red paint to make redwalls out of some modern tire.  he used regular paint, but he had to mask off a lot.  I would imagine this stuff you posted about would be easier.  you could make a jig, and with the car off the ground, just spin it and get the redwalls you always wanted!!!

It took me forever to find a place to buy it, but it was worth the search.
I replicated a set of redline tires for my Deora project. It takes a bit of time to do each tire as it's not something you can use like a regular marker. It is basically a paint marker, the same kind of item that you'd use in a junkyard to write numbers on parts.
I found that to apply it with any consistancy, the tire had to be off the vehicle, laid flat on a table, then the paint marker was "dawbed" onto the surface.
It took me an hour per tire to accomplish this task.

i had a problem with my white letter tires cracking and not looking bright...I bet having that on them would help.

I have no idea about how long this product should last.
I applied it to my tires last october, and they still look perfect.
However, my Deora hasn't turned a wheel at all either!
