I saw this green blown hemi once in Minnesota that was covered in gold trimmings. Does this car belong to anyone here.  I have not seen this car in a very long time, and it has never escaped my memory.  I loved that car, even though I am not a green fan.

wally nelson.   A friend of mine did the tune-up on that car after it sat for about 10 years.  I rode in it about 7 years ago.  It is tubbed with the leaf springs moved in to the frame rails.  It even has power steering!!!  Those magnum superchargers are pretty cool too.

Kevin Johnson worked on the car, basic stuff like rebuilding carbs, brakes etc.  It has held up very, very, well over the years.

Kevin told me that the car sat while wally started a family....his kids are probably old enough to enjoy the car now.  I haven't seen it in 7 years, I work in winona and have asked around about it.  He still takes it to cruise nights/shows.  Awesome car!!

You SPEAKING TO ME?   What I have is a full tube chassis 70 Charger with a Narrowed DANA, what do you have?   I also have a 69 Charger.  Any other birilliant questions?

The guy from Magnum Superchargers is a PUTZ........ Still owes me $100.  And is very very poor businessman. PERIOD.

THE ABOVE CAR IS NICE AND I HAVE NO PROBLEMS WITH THE CAR.   I would never, ever run a magnum supercharger.

ON your case?  HMMM ok whatever.  Look I LOVE THE CAR.  Not the guy that owns MAGNUM SUPERCHARGERS and the person that owns that car is not the guy that owns MAGNUM.   That is all not sure what you are not understanding about that.

wow ....this is nuts!i grew up right by winona. in fact, the first charger i had, the 383 came from a junkyard from winona. story had it, that a kid had a nice 70 charger, and just did a carb kit on it. he went to a party out at south padre island[ thats a real cool place on the north side of winona] and the thing was running with a gas leak and burned to the ground!  the engine got put into the orange 383 two barrell  68 charger that i bought from a friend.                            i've never seen that black blown car before. man, that thing looks bad ass!!!!!                  bruce-

Blown 70, I love that picture you have of your engine. Do you have that in the 70 Charger. I would love to see a picture.  Can I put a blower on a 10-1 engine or would it blow it up ??

Acudanut.  Not my engine but is what I will have when it is done.

Yes, YOU COULD, however, all of the compression ratio matters is the overdrive or underdrive you run on your supercharger.  IE. meaning what the FCR (final compression ratio) would be with a 10 to 1 you do not have much room to have boost.  Meaning you would not be turning the supercharger that hard.

Let me know if you do not understand that.  I did assume pump gas and not alcohol.... If you run Ethanol or Menthanol you can run much higher compression and over drives.  I know one supercharger running alcohol that is 42% over driven.....

green. ok  i stand corrected. kind of looks black in the pic. sorry

i woud keep it round 8-1 myself but i have heard of guys running more than that 8-1. This would be a street driven supercharger if that's what your talking about?
