383 fuel line question

I want to replace the fuel line from the pump to the carb. I've ordered two different ones and they don't seem to be correct. The problem is that I can't put the ignition coil on top because an incorrect line was used and is in the way.

Can someone give me some advice or should I just get a long piece and shape it. Can anyone direct me to a real good illustration?

This is the stock 383 440 4bbl avs carbs, a Holley carb with dual feed is nothing like this.
You can get these fuel lines at most places YO the Paddock on and on.
