I'll hyjack this thread a little further (farther?) if that's ok. Buddy Guy is great. I saw him live once during a blues festival and he stole the show.

I bet he was great.  I'm a little sad sometimes that I'm too young and/or got into the blues too late to hear a bunch of the greats.  I missed Stevie Ray, Howlin' Wolf, Muddy Waters, and John Lee Hooker, among others.   I have seen Kenny Wayne Shepherd a few times, and I'm going to try to see Jonny Lang here in Mpls early next year.  Oh, and I'll get around to seeing BB King soon enough, even if I have to drive down to Indianola, Mississippi.

I just turned in a rental car that had Sirius Satellite radio and for 4 days it was locked on channel 74 the all blues station. I always loved the Blues and now I am thinking of getting Sat radio just for that station. 

I did get to meet Matt Guitar Murphy from the Blues Brothers band many years ago when he was touring with his own band and SRV is one of the better blues Guitarist IMO
