Upon inspecting the trunk of my recently purchased RT/SE it has 2 switches with 2 trunk lights, is this common??
My restore book shows only 1 switch, 1 light.  Thanks for any info.

trunk lights doesn't use switch as far I know. At least on 3rd gens The socket itself is a mercury switch that turns on whne trunk lid is opened.

1st and 2nd gen though are a separate switch and light under the trunk and as far as I have ever seen, it's one switch and one light.

NICE!!! oh well, not that nice... I preffer the socket switch :)

The other switch could it be an alarm system or lightning reinforcement then.

Thanks for the response.  I also noticed how well done your trunk is.  Bought my car earlier this year with everything thrown into the trunk.  I've repainted and placing everything back, only I don't know where the black bumper arm (boomerang looking thing that goes under the bumper when jacking it up) goes and how it situates under the spare.  Is there a chance that you could send a photo of that layout.  The restore book doesn't show under the spare. Pulling the tire is a pain, but if you just lift enough to get a pic showing its location I would be forever in debt. Could you also write down where the threaded bolt passes through the bumper arm, or what configuration.  No big rush.  Any help is great help.

This site is awsome!!

Thanks a lot

Bryan, your car is a 69 Charger correct?  If so, there is no seperate jack hook under the tire.   The jack pictured in my trunk is the correct & only jack for a 2nd gen Charger.  It is a one piece jack with no removeable hook
