Ever wonder how crash safety testing gets it's power?

I have a friend in the auto industry that sent these to me. These are the power plants that provide the propelling force that slings cars against walls and each other for crash safety testing. Take a look at the pics gentlemen, I guaranty you will be surprised!  Straight from mother Mopar back in the 60s torqueflights and all! One was converted to fuel injection, but the other is stock off the assembly line from the day it was born! I'd love to offer a trade for some newer powerplants. I wonder how many cars met their demise from the power these put out?

Wow, how cool is that?? :icon_smile_cool: I wonder why only one is converted to fuel injection?

I'm surprised they're not using Cummins engines or something similar nowdays.

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

makes you wonder what year those blocks are? Possibly as early as 65? Or do you think later?
