I am looking to replace my r/s inner trunk extension panel....actually just the lower section inside of the lower quarter panel area.  My trunk floor portion is fine.  I was looking at some repo parts for this job and see they are available and listed for 73-4 Charger only.

Does anyone know the difference between a 73-4 Charger trunk extension panel and a 71 body style.  I am thinking it might be cosmetic as the trunk floor in later years may be a little different?  I can likely use just the lower piece I require.
Thanks in advance Nacho lol

hehehe!!! :P  :-[
I think ( in fact I'm pretty sure ) 71/74 are the same or at least interchangeable, BTW, same piece of S**T repro part, but never detailed completelly and closelly that area on 71/72s to compare with mine.

Yeah, I ordered one of those too, for my '71 -- never ended up using it, the fellow I had doing the work ended up fabricating something instead.

In hate they aren't even close to originals. That piece of S**T doesn't have the drain hole and depresion to that what is the hardest part to rebuild.

To make that piece like the repro, any body man is able to bend a flat sheetmetal piece.

so are these floor pans junk as well??

I bought a floor pan for my 72 from Autobody Specialties. Seemed like a decent piece. Probably not as thick as the original floor but I doubt that any repop is.

About floor pan itself maybe will worth since will be A LOT HARDER to make one at home. If doesn't fit perfect at least is something to start on make it works.
