I went to Sears this past weekend to check out the holiday tool sales. I picked up this drill kit for $ 99.00!  1/2 in Heavy Duty drill & a 3/8 right angle drill.....both 19.2 volts! It also came with Two batteries, a 1 hour charger, and a case. Also picked up a set of DeWalt titanium tip drill bits for $25 bucks. anyone else Hit the sales this weekend?

Sounds like a nice find Low, ill have to keep my eyes open for that deal. My corded Makita just put on the magical smoke show for me the other night.

Bought a Craftsman orbital buffer/waxer a couple years ago on sale, from 50.00 marked down to 20.00, has worked well.   I like DeWalt power tools the best.  Hope the new tools work well, I wouldn't mind one of those.

Why would you want anything else?  Just give me a Charger and I'll be happy.

Sears is selling its brand of Gearwrenches for almost half off today at stores down here (Tacoma area). I'll probably pick up a set of them.
Kinda ticks me off how Sears and others can instantly reduce prices by half during the holidays. Especially now that they sell three at least three different priced versions of each tool.
Craftsman used to mean quality. I'd pay more for it but knew it was among the best. Today though - well, you can buy three or four different sized boxes of screwdrivers. Screwdrivers.  :rotz:
Sixty-eights look great and the '69 is fine.
