OK, this is probably an easy one:

"What are you doing?"

"Who shot you, Carmine?......Who shot the policeman?"

"Y_ Y_ You'll kill me."

Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?

GOT IT!!

After the car chase, Roy Scheider is questioning the old mob guy in the hospital by taking away his oxygen.

The connection was Bill Hickman - stuntdriver in Bullitt, French Connection & The Seven Ups. He was the driver of the Charger in Bullitt that pulled the seatbelt tight just before starting the chase.

:scratchchin:   hmm, interesting.    When you said think car chase, french connection came to mind.  I realize bullit is famous chase that was filmed a special way, like all one chase at one time, not a bunch of seperate timed shots edited together later, something like that.   makes sense same guy did french connection. that is an intense chase with realistic flavor and is crazy, under the raised highway the whole way.   I haven't see seven ups, now I am curious to see the chase scene in that movie.  thanks

Cool, I always liked Roy Scheider. He plays the gruff NY detective role pretty well. Not quite as sadistic as Gene Hackman but still :2thumbs:

How about....

"Just when I thought I was out... they pull me back in."

I haven't seen that movie in 20 or 30 years. Woulds of never guessed it. Anybody ever see Freebie & the Bean from the 70's? Thats a obscure one for you. LEON.

I think the guys that did Bullitt also did The 7 Ups. The chase scene was filmed in a very similar way. There are some repeats, just like in Bullitt, of the same scene, but from a different angle. 7UPS was a Ponco movie, Roy drove a Ventura (AKA Nova) and the bad guy drove a huge boat (Boneville?), but Man did he drive it. The chase did not end the same way....I won't give it away until you see it.

Yep, Michael Corleone's line from The Godfather III as only Al Pacino could voice it.  :coolgleamA:

Ok, here's one from a big 1985 hit movie.

"Last night, Darth Vader came down from planet Vulcan and told me that if I didn't take Lorraine out that he'd melt my brain."
