Yes and yes.I passed on that one when it was in Montreal. Asking price was $10 bills. It was all there but the motor and trans.Car was a parts car at best.I told a guy in Ont. about it and he bought it.He later sold it to someone in the states. At some point in time ( north or south of the border ) word was it was rebodied.Maybe that is why it has AC now.
Previously owned Daytona XX29L9B423239 - f8 - white int. - power windows.

This was an original T5 Copper car that was returned to Copper from the white in this picture... Here it is after/during resto.. T5 Copper and T7 Dark Bronze are often confused for one another.. There were very few T7's made...........

The Daytona that is listed on the top of the page of moparmapleleaf94 is the car that is in Ohio. Its not a rebody as of yet, but it is being repared using parts from a cloned Daytona.

Ghoste

How much of the past history does anyone know about any of the copper Canadian Daytona's?

THE CHARGER PUNK

theres a rusty F8 green daytona se in british columbia, if anyone took pics of it at the 2005 mopar madness show at quantlen college in Langley,B.C.( i know i saw 8wheeler there)  1 summer ago post it up if u know which car im talking about, i did but they are not developed as the camera still hasnt been used up-MATT

I SAW IT AT THIS SHOW,(no pic was taken as it didnt seem like a big deal just a Rusty daytona, will hopefully get pic soon)

Personally I don't have any info on hardly any of the Canadian Daytona's only that 2 were SE's, and I believe that they were sequentially numbered. Then that the bronze one is now in Ohio. Thats about it. Heck I don't even know much about the few Canadian 500's. I've only seen 1, and it was a HEMI.

Ghoste

I only ask, and I'm certain that I raised the question here before, is because there used to be a bronze Daytona locally and I have always wondered what became of it.  I know when it was here in southwestern Ontario it belonged to the original owner but I don't know that it was purchased locally.  I don't recall it being an SE but I think it may have been a four speed car.

THE CHARGER PUNK

There was only 1 c500 Se ever delivered to canada of the 12 SE500 built new , it is b5 blue with blue interior with road wheels and a white stripe, owner is gordon stebanuk

That is not the one that got toasted in the Ottawa garage fire last summer?

I don't know.  I think that was about the time that I first brought the question up before and I don't think anyone at the time knew very much about the car.  I wish I did.  I'd have paid more attention if I knew there was going to be a test 25 years later.

THE CHARGER PUNK

nope this car has been in that conditon for a long time, i saw it first time 5-6 yrs ago looks the way it does when i 1st saw it-MATT

I am EXTREMELY serious about a Daytona or Superbird Clone project, and may consider a real one. I am in Canada (BC) and would love to have any leads! As stated, I am a serious buyer, looking for a SERIOUS seller (no Barrett-Jackson freaks, please). May work one of my project cars into the deal. Please call me if you have or know of something, I am NOT a flipper/dealer etc., just an honest Mopar lover looking for a Wing car. Thanks
