THE CHARGER PUNK

I'm sure I'm driving everyone nuts by posting every little picture. If I'm boring you let me know.

The engine compartment is compleated. A little more work on the body and she'll be golden.... errr..... Green ;)

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

Does someone make the stripes, or did you have to have them custom made?

I had them custom made. lots of still shots from the DVD and a lot of measuring on my Charger ;) They even came out cheaper then the original Ralley stripe

I like the trunk hinge hold down method, that's a pretty good idea. :yesnod: I'm sure it beats getting poked in the eye. ;D

SHE'S PAINTED!

After all the unexpected surprises, Sanding, priming, sanding priming, she got her paint yesterday.

I'll be taking her back home most likely this weekend to start the assembly prossess.

The doors are sanded and almost ready for primer, Then the motor and drive train will be put into the car.

Looks like she just may be ready in a few more weeks. The stripes are in a box. all the new seals, and badging is here. only thing I forgot to order was the trunk seal  :icon_smile_blackeye:

Sarcasm detector, that's a real good invention.

Thanks guys!  :2thumbs:

It was a rough patch for a little bit. A hole here, a patch there... The worse was actually kinda funny.

Story - The guys were in the garage one night kinda late, and decided to sand on my quarters a bit <they were not very nice in the lower sections and the guys felt that me doing the work there wasn't a great idea, so they fixed them for me> well, while they were sanding a huge chunk of the trunk floor extention just fell out... just *BANG* ...they look at each other and look under the car. "Well that isn't good"

So I had to order a extention, they were back ordered a bit, but when it came in it was repaired in no time flat. Then we could get back to work ;)

It was kinda funny, but caused me to loose a little motivation. But now that I see it, I'm just stoked! The work continues!
