What type of paint would you recommend for painting the K-frame? I plan on grinding it to bare metal, so what should I use to prime it with?

Thanks in advance

i'd use implement paint on the kframe. regular paint will chip easy. implement paint is some damn hard stuff. works good though.

:iagree:     I used implement paint on all my front suspension... it is the most durable spaybomb there is, I used gloss black on my K frame, centerlink,   Ford Dark Gray on all cast pieces tie rods ball joints, etc. (although glossier than cast blast, it is a dark gray color) and used Aluminum on steel parts, Contol arms. Although it isn't   "as delivered" finish.. it adds a nice detail look for a driver/local show car.   good luck

I powder coat all of mine gloss black, hard stuff cheap and nothing seams to stick to it stays clean.
