Seems Ford is closeing their Atlanta plant and with is ending production of the Taurus.

I thought they had already killed off the Taurus with the 500...

anyway, when i was in high school i did a report on Ford and at the time the Taurus was the last car completly made in America by "hand" I remember writing in my report that the Taurus may not be an impressive car, but that it was truly american, and that made it important to included in my report. kind of sad to see it go... even though i think its one of the worst cars on the road.

I got to see the outside of the plant when the Greyhound bus I was on passed by.   The thing looked so rundown that it was scary...
