Do you have a pic of the trans? I'm try to figure out what makes there TKO diffrent than any other? They told me they cut notches in the trans to fit out torsions bars brace.

They only charger $280 for bellhouseing
                          $1500 TKO from mustang site
$ 75 for there throw out bearing

This is no were near $3200

thought about it . as they sell  the kit with every thing you need to do the swap     :popcrn:

They also modify the shifter. Sorry no picture, but several can be found on their website. Read through the magazine articles they have posted.

That $3200 also gets you a new driveshaft, trans x-member w/ mount, speedo cable plus other assorted hardware. Those are the basics for converting a 4 speed car. Still need a clutch on top of that.

I spent way more than that converting from an automatic, but I got all the bells and whistles, including the hydraulic clutch, pedal kit and some upgrades.

I swapped in a standard Tremec transmission and it required some "modifying" to fit the torsion bar crossmember...     however I have Keisler auto so i wasnt about to pay $5000+ for a 5-speed...    I have less than $3600 in my total swap = but that does not include the sweat equity i put in...

What type of mods? Is it just cutting off some tabs or what? Do you have any pics? Putting the speed in, was it real hard?

Well....     the factory installed rear shifter lands dead center of the hoop in the torsion bar crossmember....      this led to me cutting out what i needed to and re-welding metal to gain the structural support back....     It took my collectively 47 hours of work...     that was the time from putting the car on the lift, pulling the egnine and trans all the way to having the 383/5-speed in...

It looks to me like Keisler moved the shifter forward on their lastest tremec
