I cant find the console plug

I have a 68 charger that was a column shifter,traded steering column and installed console,now i cant find the plug for the console wiring.It's not in the usual places i've read about. Can anyone help...Rewire,splice.????

I just did the same change over, you will need the complete 3 piece wiring harness from a donor car.
Harness #1  runs from the fuse box and end at the driver's kick panel.
Harness #2  from the kick panel down the  driver's side just below the sill plate and under the driver's seat.
Harness #3  the one with the light sockets that attaches under the console.

thanks fr the info ,i found the proper wires and spliced them in.consol lights and all work  fine. I found a small two pronged female plug to the backup lights on the heater box .they work now.
