sounds like an electronic distributor? wires would go to ignition module not coil. Points only have one wire and it goes to (-) neg coil post. At least best i can remember, can't seem to find my electronic ignition upgrade files.  :rotz:

well, open the cap if it looks like this pic of a dual point, maybe thats what u have but should still have only one lead wire. But do you mean it has 3 wires total? I dunno what that is  ???, maybe a conversion or ???

the ECU has 5 wires , Blue to 12 V power , blk to - Coil , & the 2 wires to the dist , the 5 th wire is green & not used

Used just if you have double ballast resistor to the 5 pins module
Venezuelan RT 74 400 4bbl, 727, 8.75 3.23 open. Now stroked with 440 crank and 3.55 SG. Here is the History and how is actually: http://www.dodgecharger.com/forum/index.php/topic,7603.0/all.html

5 pin modules were only made for 3 years , & oddly will work with the green wire disconnected
