I was just reading that Lowes Motor Speedway will be adding extra security for Brian Vickers after receiving several calls from fans angry over what happened at Talladega. What the fudge? What kind of sad individual is sitting there watching the race on TV, his favorite driver gets wrecked, and then says "This will not stand...I am calling the race track (but not even the race track where the incident happened) and gonna threaten someone". Can you imagine the poor schmuck (or schmuckette) working the phones at LMS? They're probably trained to field calls about tickets or directions to the track and all of a sudden they got some angry drunken redneck whining about Junior getting wrecked..

I will be the first to admit that I too am guilty of stirring the pot once in a while but I think everyone knows me well enough by now that it is all in good fun.  When I do take shots at other members, which may not be the right thing to do, it is when I feel a member has or is making this site and its other members look foolish.  The types of posts here in this thread are perfect examples.  I won't even touch on the racist remarks as I am sure that there are really good explanations for those.
