Mean 318

1970 Dodge Coroet 440, Well, I found it when I was fifteen, it had been in a field for about five years. I saved up and brought it back home. Since then I did what any teenager would do with that kind of car and proceeded to beat the hell out of it. Hindsight is 20/20, but I had a lot of fun! Also,my 86 Ram, I got them at the same time, but the Ram had a bad habbit of getting hit, so I sold it to get my 90 4X4... still have that!

1970 Charger 500.  Plum Crazy.  I didn't even know i was that smart at 16. :icon_smile_big:

Unfortunately, I forget the order in which I got them. It was either a '53 Plymouth Cambridge or a '59 Dodge Coronet 2-dr. If we're only counting ones that were drivable, it was the Coronet.

First car i had was a 55 Crown Victoria(with glass top, 600 made) it was a resto but still, sold it when i was 10 and bought a new Dirtbike. First i had and drove was a Volvo Amazon, i destroyed that car making a Mercery clone, traded it for a 77 Crysler when i was 19, and the rest is as they say history :icon_smile_big:

1973 Pontiac Grand Am. Had great bumpers. Hit my basketball coaches Celica wagon doing a donut in reverse in the school parking lot and caved in it's right side and its roof. Had a bit of a blind spot with grilled over Opry? windows. I thought I was dead. The coach must have not cared for the Celica because he never made me run till I puked. The cop put down 7 cents damage for my car on his report. There was a little streak of the Celica's paint on the rubber on my bumper.

Sorry for the long winded reminiscing

Johnson County Sherriff painted on the side,
just shot a coat of primer then he looked inside,

Haha I had a 1970 Galaxie 500 4 door a few years ago, it was a good car for $300...

But that wasnt my first car. My first was a 1977 Chevy pickup.  Bought it for $50.

mikepmcs

Did I miss something Jim or are you bagging on Scotland.  If I remember right, the English and Scottish don't get along all the time.

I'm Irish so I love everyone equally.

Oh yes, I don't believe in the lochness monster either, but have spent quite a few weeks in scotland and we did make the trip there.  Urqehart Castle was very interesting.

The offer for beer goes out to all of you as well from right here in Maine.  I'll even buy you are all more than welcome to stay at the house if you ever come up this way.

mike the geordies{newcastle] the irish and the scottish are of the same breed, we dont get on with the south, goes back hundreds of years, we were caught in the middle, thats why we are called geordies{not quiet english) we helped the scots in battle more than the english, and the irish, well they are just scottish geordies, if you have irish blood then your one of us so you are welcome in this part of the world anytime.. are you a catholic then?..jim

mikepmcs

I was born into a Catholic family, yes.
I spent the first 8 years of school in private schooling and was beat quite a bit by the nuns. Haa haa.

My mother finally stopped that though.  I still take out the metal edge on wooden rulers if I see them in there. :icon_smile_big:
