Alright, I need some help here.

Today I went over to the Charger to test out the fitting of my slot mags. Well, when I crouch down to loosen the lug nuts on the rear wheel, I find that they are trashed. They are stripped, smashed, and broken. I don't know what to do about this. I can't turn any of them. The one or two that I can get a grip on that aren't destroyed won't budge.

Does anyone know what to do about this? I'm not worried about saving the lugs, studs, or the wheel. I just want to get the wheels off and replace the lugs and studs. I just need to know what to do.

Thanks

if your not going to use or sell the wheels that are on there  use a metal cutting disc on a small 4 " grinder   cut into the nut/ stud  ( use eye protection as the sparks hit the rim and ricochet towards you . or try to smack on a  smaller socket  also  i have had success  welding blobs of metal in side a correct size socket  and smacking that on , the blobs of metal grip the nut,

Ghoste

Is it the same on both sides or just one?  You do know about the left hand thread thing right?

Hey guys

This was the driver's side. I didn't even look at the passengers side. And yes, I do know about the left hand threads. My problem is that the lug nuts are rounded off and broken, etc. I'll see if I can post a picture in a little bit to show you all.

Chryco Psycho

I would grind away at the nuts with a die grinder

Thanks guys.

I think that the easiest thing to do would be what Chryco mentioned, so I'm going to try that this weekend.

get an oxy torch and blast em off, will take about 6 seconds to do  :-\

Nick,

The problem with an oxy acetylene torch is that you could damage the rims.
