Had two killer weekends with trophies - Exciting for Mopars

Went to two shows in consecutive weekends. What I though was neat about the shows is that my Daytona took "People's Choice" in the "Traffic Jam Car Show" in Albany that had over 500 cars. My car took  "Best Mopar" at both shows and that is an honor, but having People's Choice from the judges at that big of a show tells me that the Charger is a real stand out car now across the platform.  People that are not even Mopar people respect the car to the point of picking it over, not just other Mopars, but over very nice Vetts, 57 Shevys, Camero, and even a GT 500 Shelby. And Yes, I display my car as a clone. By the way, I am surprised at how many Ford and Shevy guys know about the rear window. I am happy to see the Charger getting respected and recognized.

By the way, the trophies are getting very nice looking. Not just what I call "Bowling Trophies", but works of art - mantle pieces.

Well It's an AWESOME piece of work, i guess yur gittin pretty good at dashin out those clones... Enjoy that puppy it's sure sweet!   :yesnod:

(One thing about the color combo: Chromium yellow is a real crowd favorite... Marketing Research has shown folks eyes tend to favor it, and if you go to any supermarket check the isles, you'll find chromium yellow in abundance)

Congradulations Dane - with all the work you put into your cars you deserve it - especially since your Daytona is probably one the best looking ones in the country.

I am not convinced it has much to do with whether Chargers are popular or not.

Your car is just spectacular.  If it had a Shevy or Ferd emblem on it, it would do just as well.   You know how to build a nice car.  Congratulations.

Daytona Guy

Thanks guys - I still get the "Hey Mom, it's the Joe Dirt car"- Only from little kids. (That is weird within itself)

They do say, "It's a Charger first, then, "Look, it's a Daytona". It's good to know people know it is a Charger. The world out there is getting Mopar educated.

You're getting to be good at scooping up trophies! :2thumbs:

Speaking of which, since they're not "bowling" trophies, got any pics? Are they carved from granite or something? :icon_smile_big:

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

Congrats  :2thumbs:   That car looks awesome.

My total for the last 2 weeks was 2 plaques and 1 trophy from the 3 shows I went to.   I got pics of people hanging by the car too.   Chargers just attract attention.   :icon_smile_cool:

Do not get me wrong, I am honored to even get a trophy. I just like the creativity in some of the trophies. Here are some of them. The darker glass ones look cool but the pic does not show it well. The bowling trophies are in the back.  ;D
