Getting back to the subject. I own a 68 Convertable Dart GT, Factory 318 and automatic. Nothing special but I like it. I almost did a trade a few months ago. But You guys talked me out of it. Thanks!

MYTMOPR

Well I was looking to customize my license plate for my charger, and thought of some pretty good ones. MYTMOPR "mighty mopar" stuck so I decided to go with it. My next choice was TYM4A69, but the wife didn't think it was appropriate

sunfire69

The color code of my 69 Charger is Y2, Sunfire Yellow. Plus I couldn't think of anything else at the time so I just stuck with it.

I got mine from the Danzig song "Am I Beast" off his first album.   "Am I beast or am I demon, am I just like you!?"   No one ever knows what it means, and most people don't even realize it's three words, they try and pronounce it like one word.

Doc74

Wow where was this thread buried ?

Uhm lessee...Doc because some people called me mr. car doctor a few times, just doc later on which is much easier and it stuck and 74 since it was the year I was born. So no 74 charger here, only 69.

I thought about changing to Doc69 but people might get the wrong idea, confusing the car I own is one thing.

RECHRGD

Well, in '68 I bought a new yellow R/T.  In '69 I sold it.  In '97 bought a '68 Charger and made it into the clone of the one I had in '68, thus the car is recharged along with the driver.    Bob

Blackwolf comes from the stories my grandpa told me about the wolves  he had seen. My grandpa was half cherokee indian. I collect wolf shirts, statues, jackets, posters, and pics. The mystery of the Blackwolf decribes me. Sneeky, quiet till it all comes out at once. Unpredictable, never know how they will react.

Manfred318

I was setting in my truck one morning at school with a frind of mine and "Blinded by the Light" by Manfred Mann came on the radio, so I cranked it up and started singing it as loud as I could. Later that day all of my friends started calling me "Manfred" as a joke and it just kinda stuck.

Charger1973

My first Charger was a 1973 Charger.  I made the email address charger1973@hotmail.com when I got the car in 1998.  Since then basically all my screennames have been this, or as close to it as I can get.  All 3 of the Chargers I have owned have just happened to be 73s.  I didnt even plan it that way.   :icon_smile_cool:

No Matt, really.  Just giving you a hard time.   Mine is pretty simple as well..  Well technically if you look at my title, the car says 73, but since it was made in Dec 1973 most probably consider it a 74.  This was and still is my first mopar.   My family had owned a dodge van a long time ago, also a 72 Monaco Station wagon and an 72 Dart Swinger.
