Removing all the stuff from the engine bay so I can blast everything.  Was the mounting plate supposed to be body color?  It looks like it may have been a semi-gloss black or something.  Thanks  Matt

Should be a satin/semi-gloss black

Use the backside for reference, Black and should have just a bit of gloss
