Vacuum pods/Actuator - how do they attatch to the body/frame?

Have found a set of actuators now - and new hoses on their way. Together with my (hopefully functioning) canister and (hopefully working) switch the headlight doors will open/clise....

But - how do these actuators fasten/attach to the car?

Anyone has good picture/photo? Is there a steel bracket or do they attatch straight to body-metal?

vacuum hose attatches to the actuator, and actuator then has linkage to the headlight doors soehow? I think my car has the small/thin metal "sway-bar" looking things that regulate the doors, but actuators somehow are connected to these bars I guess! How???

Many thanks for any input!

There is a metal c clip with a sheet metal screw that screws it together to clamp around the door actuator rod.  The actual vacuum pod has two studs on it and gets bolted to the triangular shaped piece of metal that connects to your grille frame.
