The Pantera is an Italian car,made in Italy, with a Ford drivetrain but is also owned buy Ford...so is it really a domestic brand?

Its more like DCX, Germans own it, has Chrysler parts in it, and even made in other countries...not sure what to call Chrysler products

it depends if you want to define it by the powerplant, who designed it, and who owns the company. By that logic, just about every "foreign" car is domestic and every domestic car is 'foreign' to some extent.

BTW - the TC wasn't a bad car and it was a good idea...but Chrysler undermined it when it brought out the LeBaron convertible which looked nearly identical and cost a lot less.
