Good one - hopefully should be able to get it for approx 20USD. I would imagine that to be pretty good buying.

IIRC, 68 was the last year that the words "Dodge" and "Plymouth" appeared on the faceplate. I believe 1969 cars will have "Chrysler Solid State"

Is there a model number or date code tag on the radio?

I have seen two styles of Dodge units. The Charger correct style had area above the viewable dial lense with a bend in the middle that follows the radio bezel shape (so it fits snug against the bezel). The other style had a totally flat area above the lense that would make it fit funky in a Charger bezel. I am not sure what the flat lense style came from. Here is the style with the taper. My '69 (a late 68 build) had the Dodge name.

Interesting. I'm curious, is yours the R11 standard AM or the R13 Astrophonic? Does it have a date code tag?

The car is coded R11. I ditched the stock radio a year ago. I will see if I can find a pic of it out of the car.

Hi.

The model number on top is 252. Don't know if this helps? Cheers

68 parts book shows the model 252 is for a 68 Coronet/Charger. 69 book doesn't list the model number, only the PN.
