Can anyone on here from Canada help...  Long story short I'm based in the UK but travel to Canada 3 or 4 times a year...  on my last few trips I've always picked up the odd part for my '70 Charger...  It helps save on paying postage and Duty buy smuggling the stuff back to the UK in person...  Best one yet was a Front Grill in a Ski Bag  :icon_smile_big:

However, I don't know of any parts places based in Canada so I'm stil pulling parts from the likes of Summit and Yearone to name but a few and still end up paying Duty (although at a lesser rate than the UK) just to get them into Canada...

Anyhelp is much appreciated...

To save headaches and customs hassles, almost al the big repro houses and parts retailers have shops set up in Canada. Check the web pages of the dealers and you'll more than likely see a small icon linking you to a Canadian site. Or at least an email address. And be careful with customs. Those guys have all the sense of humor of a prune.

Do you by chance have a Canadian retailer for Year One?  Got a few small pieces I need, but don't want to pay the shipping/duty for something that small to Canada direct from Year One.

Go on then, give me some suggestions?  cause I can't find any, well not from the usual suspects???

...and customs, I don't have to worry about in the same fashion you US Patriots do, our lads aren't interested in me brining in a few parts for myslef for personal use, thay've got better things to do...

I live in BC Canada but I can't help you with parts suppliers. My part supplier is a best friend down in Creston!

Where in Canada are you arriving?  I can provide some info for you as it pertains to Ontario.

I'm back and forth to Newfoundland mostly so I usually get stuff posted to a Friend and pick it up as I pass through...  It doesn't really matter where the outlet is so long as I can order through a catologue or online etc.  any suggestion will be a great help...

Hey Dodge, how did the grill arrive? intact or did you have to rebuild it. I can imagine the baggage handlers flinging the ski bag needless to say.  :o :o
