curious is all, how many miles/kilometers do you all put on your vehicles each month?  I know here in the U.S. things are spaced so much farther away from one another (specifically where I live in the central plains states).  We have to drive larger distances to get to and from.  When I was deployed to Germany, villages seemed less than two miles away so I did not see that much vehicular traffic.  But of course, I had just viewed a small area of Germany and cannot make a all-encompassing assumption or hypothetical guess of every aspect in Germany.

Anyway, what is the answer to the top question? :D  thanks.

I lived there for two years, and visited for Oktoberfest from 1988-1997, and rarely drove, unless I went to Amsterdam. You don't realize how lucky you are to have the Deutsche Bahn. I would never drive if we had trains here...that went from town to town, not Amtrak, the El, or the Subway...

$3.79 Regular
$3.89 Ultimate
$3.99 Supreme
$4.99 Diesel
::)

He's getting good gas mileage though for a 400cui 4bbl... it was 300 miles on a 20 gallon tank... yeah 15 mpg  :2thumbs:
Sincerely, Joey Paul Gowdy

Foreman72

wow...that isn't bad mileage

some places are more expensive then others but here in good old Manchester NH, your gonna spend anything from 3.98 to 4.07...for 87...and who uses that anyway.  91 is at like 4.25+...not as bad as some other places but lets face it, its sure not the price it was when our cars were young, and it probably never will be again :icon_smile_dissapprove:
