cant find body pannels of a 73

i ordered some quarter pannels for my charger in november and i dident find out until last week that it had burned down so i need to find a company
if any one knows of some that would be a real big help

There is a rumor that the place that was repopping the 73/74 quarters is currently not making any more at this time. Look through the parts section of MCG or look on E-gay. Have you tried the Paddock, sherman's, Autobody Specialties?

ya i checked all 3 and paddock doesent have it for a 73 charger shermans i phoned one of the companys here in canada that is their suplyer and they dont have any and ordered some in febuary and i phoned auto body specialties and they are out of stock and there is a waiting list so what is a guy supost to do

i ordered the passenger side from this place a couple of months ago the driver side they where backorded on for about a year the passenger side i ordered friday and received it on monday and it shipped freight .its pretty good quality i have not installed it yet but looks just like the one on the car i think they had some passenger sides stock piled. hope it helps

I was told the company making the panels stopped production, but they were being made so they are out there. I found the one i needed. Keep checking ebay. But beware there are hand formed panel being sold there and they suck. You might find some at the nationals if you are going, always several body panels for sale and I always see NOS ones there (expensive though) There was a thread in the body sections one of the guys had them hand made just for him and they looked pretty nice. How bad are your 1/4's?

The one i got deffently was not hand form.very good quailty ,i tride everywhere and no luck ,i think this place had a bunch of the pass side on hand thats why they still could get them thats why they arre back odered two years on the driver side .one sides better then nothing

When i was looking i finally got answer why no one has them, everyone get them from the same place i called the paddock/autobody spec /yearone/shermans it turns out the company that stamps them is selling out and are saleing all there stamping dies thats the answer i received after getting pissed off and  makeing the paddock call there supplier just to see how long i would have wait for these damn things i still need the driver side.

Just so you know there is one on ebay now from classicparts4U Those are the hand formed ones I suggest you don't buy.

ya my 1/4 are in rouph shape i have some pics of the car at home i am using a work computer i have found one of the font quarters from a wrecker it is in good shape all i have to do is find the other 3 i will post some pics of it tonight after work

i am running out of ideas on what to do what do they mean when they say patch pannels

patch panels are just smaller sections not complete panels, like just the lower rear or front but maybe not around the wheel opening. I feel your pain I went through this last year till I got lucky.Where are you located?

I hear ya, but at $300 each when other places had them for under $200 and getting them shipped truck frieght to canada.it might be worth waiting and searching a little, I'll keep my eye out for some and post if i find any.

i was just trying to help .i know how frustrating it trying to find body parts .i waited 2years for autobody spec to get rear floor sections with no luck then i gave up and found some nos  ones.i hoping i dont have to do that with the driver quarter panel.

One of the guys here, Nacho I think had his hand made and posted a bunch of pics of it, Mine was only a partial and I had to hand make the front portion, it came out nice  but plenty of tedious work, luckily I enjoyed the whole process.

ya i went out to my body guy a week ago and he was tyred of witing and stuff so he is fixing them himself i had ordered a fiberglass front valence in the middel of june and i havent got it yet from show cars but there has to be something
