HEMI C500 looks awesome . also that 69 R/T survivor looked intresting  looks to have a OEM tow hitch , nice pictures (duo-stripe) thanks for posting

It was awesome meeting you, and I'm glad the trip went smoothly.  Gotta wonder about that Troy guy though...

To my knowledge, all the tow hitches back then were either dealer- or owner-installed (no factory hitches).  I don't know if MaMopar had a trailer hitch that they sold as an accessory kit to the dealers, or if they were generic / JCWhitney type of parts.  That R/T was a 4-speed car too, which means that it didn't have the factory's Trailer Tow package on it.  Very neat car though...

          intresting , i have seen a  a few chargers with the same style of tow hitch . i am pretty sure this is the original mopar part.   this is the same style on this charger ,  pitcure from the awesome   CARS IN BARNS  web site
