Can Saignaw PS hoese from Gen-3 Chargers work on Gen 2? Will they fit?

Hey all

Trying to work through my frankensien P/S setup since I'm not sure what parts are from where.

I know I have a Saignaw box - but the hoses are really dry and need replacing.

When I look at the parts stores, there are only generic pressure hoses available for 68 Chargers. However, for the later (71+) cars, they have pre-fit pressure lines for 383s.

So the question - will a parts-counter Saignaw box, and pre-fit Saignaw hoses from a 71+ car work on my 68?

Hi corellian,
I have a 73-up box with a saginaw pump on a 69 Charger.
I bought the 69 pressure hose,and the one and only trouble that i found is the 73 box had not the threaded male fitting ,only the threaded hole and the 69´hose has a female fitting.
I was looking for the box fitting,but i was unable to find it so i bought a 73 B-body pressure hose (Male fitting)and it fits nice.
