Cruise Night in downtown New Hamburg, sponsored by the New Hamburg Board of Trade

Saturday, August 19, 2006:

Open to all Mopar/AMC/Jeep show vehicles 1986 and older, Custom Truck/Van and Special Interest Vehicles (Newer cars and trucks). Photos and details about the vehicle must be included with Special Interest Vehicle registration requests.

Participants Draw: A special draw will be made for the Saturday participants (last year a 360 crate motor was given away). You must be present to win.

I plan on going also however my Wife is due to give birth right around that time so it's all up in the air.

I had a great time last year and met up with Dodge Don, Ron (firefighter3931) and Rob (Kamcuda). We got outta the sun, had a few beers and a bunch of laughs.

Don's idea of trying to hook up is a good one. We chose the NW corner of the beer tent at noon last year on the Saturday.

Any other ideas or suggestions?

There is a Holiday Inn in Kitchener, ON - about 25km away.

I registered a car this year. I hope it's ready to go in time.

We'll likley skip the Friday night, but Saturday and Sunday are definite - whether the car is ready or not.

The car is still running and going to a show about 50 miles away tomorrow so if stays in one piece I'll be good to go.

I am planing on stopping by for a few hours on my way to Toronto ,on the 19th, just found out about it last night, so I am looking at my maps right now. Looks like a short drive up the 401, just head north for no more than a half an hour.

Edit: The site says to take 59 north to highway 7/8 to peel st. Sounds easy enough, 4 hours from Detroit, that stinks won't get there till 2-4 pm but it still should be going strong but all the good buys in parts might be gone by then.

Yeah they have a pretty good size swap meet. I thought a lot of the stuff looked like junk last year but I guess it depends what you are looking for.
