what the "correct name" for the little half moon deals that hold the u joint into the rear end on a 8.25 rear??  I finally got my driveshaft, went to hook it up, and now i can't find them dang little deals............

anyone have a set they want to get rid of??  What's are they called (so i know what to tell napa)....

According to my '68 service manual they are called clamps, as in universal joint clamp.

if you have a napa store nearby they usually sell a little kit u straps and bolts i think it was like 15 bucks

Jeggs or Summit has aluminum ones for $25 or so. Not sure who makes them mildon or moroso

U-Joint straps...I agree.....Found them at Autozone under the "Help" brand, at around $5.
