Ohio Valley Race Way is about 40 min from Louisville,,,I race there on a regular basis.....

The street rod nationals are coming up in the next week or so....

If you go to the courier journal on line,,,you can get a list of local car cruise events.....

Hey Telvis, how is life in Lexington?  My wife and I are seriously considering moving to the Lexington area when I retire from the AF in four years.  We've been looking at housing in the Georgetown area and Richmond area and REALLY like what we've seen!

We might be neighbors in the near future, you just never know.

Lexington looks very promising for us though.

Take care,

Lexington is a great place to live. It's a nice place to raise a family. The weather is good, low crime, good schools and the cost of living is reasonable. There's some great scenery too. I like Georgetown too. It's the next county over. Since I started working for Toyota in Georgetown  I have considered moving there in the next year or so. It takes me about 30 minutes to drive to work everyday. If you move here you wont regret it. I love it here.

Telvis,

Do you have access to those free real estate mags and homes for sale mags you find just inside of the local large grocery stores?  We're really interested in what the local market is like.  I can e-mail you my address and re-imburse you for what it costs to mail them down here.

Let me know either way.

Thanks Telvis,

vacant building.
Odd that it was up for sale for a month with an asking price of 170,000 when all the other around here are about $120 or less
