Can anyone help me with what should be the correct color of the headlight retainer screws and the headlight adjuster screws?  I just paint stripped the headlight buckets and they seem like they are zinc colored but I have also seen them semi flat black.

Any thoughts on this?

Brian,
If your are talking about the screws that go thru the stainless headlight rings to the headlight backing cups, they should be bright cad/zinc plated (silver shiny stuff). The headlight adjuster screws are also plated the same way, & screw into a white plastic housing surrounded by a black phosphate clip which clips into your car's header panel. These headlight adjusters go in easy, but are a b*tch to take out. You'll probably end up destroying yours trying to get them out & salvage them.
They are readily available repro thru any good parts vender (Jack's, Penstar, R/T Specialties, etc).

Bill,

Thanks for the info.  I was lucky enough to get my headlight adjusters out with no/ little problems.  Amazingly enough, the plastic did not break on them either.

See ya at Carlisle.
