'66 charger with a 318 can use same K member up to 383+?

Hi all, just a quick question.  The '66's have the same K member for the 318 all the way up, except a 426, correct?  I may pick up a 383 soon, and get the schumacher engine mounts for it.  Someone tried to tell me a 383 won't fit in there, I think they're wrong, but I just wanted to double check before I blew all my $......Thanks.
