What do these numbers on my block mean?

I thought the VIN number was on the passenger side under the motor mount, but there's nothing there.  On the underside however, I found these numbers.  I think it's a '68 block (440 HP2) as it has a D on the stamping pad.   Any ideas?

Best I can tell, here's the decode:

PT = Trenton Engine Plant
440 = Duh...
P = not sure, probably means either (high) performance or premium fuel recommended
2469 = May 1, 1968 - date when the bottom end of the engine was assembled
26?? = Build Sequence for that particular day's production line

Oh - and the place to look for the VIN is on the rear of the block, on the bellhousing flange.  Real close to the oil pressure sending unit.

The VIN, if it was even stamped, was on the back of the block for 1968 models. The stamping moved to the passenger's side pad in 69.
