Awesome info! I never realized that workings of an engine were so "Simple". Basically continuous "explosions" in the combustion chamber causing the pistons to go down, which are counter connected (probably a bad explanation) to the crank shaft which is used to turn the "Up & Down" motion of the pistons into a circular motion.

Simple, yet brilliant. I wish I had my engine taken out already so I can tear it down and see it in person.


Anyway, does anyone know of any sites that give information just like the info at that link, not only of engines, but of transmission, differentials, etc...?
