igintion switch

how do i bench test my igntion switch.i have two and one is bigger than the other one.is the big one a 69 switch charger490

check for continuity between red and:
Blue and Black wires on ignition 1 ( Run Position )
Yellow and brown wires on ignition 2 ( Start position )
No continuity between any ignition 1 or 2 prongs on any position

legend is:
blue... engine source.
black... acc source
Yellow... starter relay signal
Brown... ballast bypass to coil
Red... INPUT

That's to 3rd gens. I'm pretty sure is the same to earliers
