Black paint with green tint glass

I've been debating on color for my Coronet for ages and I think I want to go back to black. The glass in the car at present is clear but I also have a factory A/C car with (green) tinted glass. (In Florida tint is a must). I cannot stand the stick on tint even though I like the black tint much better. I really don't remember ever seeing any black cars with the green tint glass!! I am wondering if anyone hear has it and how it looks.

To take it a step further I think I'm going back to the original white interior.

Opinions needed here to. I have only seen a few white interiors in Coronets. Most had white headliners, but one had a black headliner and it looked pretty damn nice. I think he changed his seats from red to white, but it did look good.

So what do you think?? Change the glass to the green tint or not?

I have a lot of pictures of black 68 chargers, but none of them have stock tinted windows. So sorry I am
no help  :rotz:, I am not sure what would look better, a real personal preference on that one I think  ;D

My car is going to be black and it has green tinted glass from the factory. It is not a factory a/c car but it is originaly from Alabama.

I don't know if this Charger has clear or tinted glass, looks nice though.

It would be hard to tell what it came with originally because the windows have heavy after market tint. It does look like the windshield has the darker edge up top - but that could be a replacement glass as well.

And this is a 9.5 year old thread...

Sarcasm detector, that's a real good invention.

Haha! Back from the dead. Is there a market for original glass? My windshield is mint...

At one point, all replacement glass was tinted (definitely the rear window) so there was a market for clear factory glass. I do not know if that's still the case - but certainly some people are more interested in factory glass. I need a windshield at some point. Where are you at?

Yes, for the guys that are competing, original glass is a big deal.

So Steve, you had over 9 years to think about it, what did you decide?

Pictures?

Yeah, I decided not to do anything at all since the bottom dropped out of me buying/selling parts to fund my car. The car still sits inside a well sealed garage and waits for me to find the bucks to make a nice ride of her once again..
