Do you guys know of any sites that sell reissue gauges?

You can either have yours restored (EXPENSIVE) or do it yourself with paint and decal kits.  For the tach, you can buy repro tic toc tachs or tachs with no clock for a couple hundred dollars through a few vendors.  They look nearly factory and are compatible with electronic ignition.

This cluster has gauge decals from Performance Car Graphics.   They also replated the bezel.
The switches were good so I just cleaned them up and added a Tic Toc Tac.    Had about $600 in it.

Why some cars have chrome bezels ?There were different options?
Mine has a Grey paint in the bezel. It looks ugly in comparision with the one on the picture.

A lot of people used a silver or gray paint stick when the plastic chrome faded or peeled off.  Someone did that same thing to my 70 El Camino SS 396.

Some cars have chrome because that is the way it came from the factory, and costs a lot more $$$ to restore correctly than just using silver paint.....
