B5 Charger

Went to the HPAC show in KC this weekend.  Swapped a few parts but didn't make enough to really jump up and down about.  It was flat dead on Sunday.  Met Moparhound and RD for the first time.  Many thanks to Moparhound for buying the headrests and shift knob.  A pair of my non-A/C rallye dash vent dummies came up missing.  Whether it was theft or my father in law not paying close enough attention to what he was pricing remains a mystery.  Anyway I am still out $30 for the set.  That combined with the cost of the swap space and the gas it took to get me there I pretty much broke even.  My daughter did win a couple trophies at the Hotwheel drags.  First in modified and second in stock so that was pretty cool.  At any rate here are a few pics I snapped at the show.

vents for the battery gases so they do not recirculate into the interior compartment.

On a different note, I pulled in around $1,400.00 that day swapping.  And all I had were third gen charger stuff, still do if you look at the want ads LOL! :D :D

Had a good time meeting B5, seeing cudahob, and seeing Lonnie again (thanks for hanging out with me all day).

Hot, 90+ degrees, high humidity, and asphalt everywhere, at least in the swap area.  Should have put the sun block on earlier - will I ever learn............LOL.  Arriving home wore out and beat means a good day Mopar-ing!  :icon_smile_big:

Hung around RD's swap spot most of the day.  Made several rounds in the swap area Saturday.  Got to meet Cudahob and B5 Charger.  Wish I had spent more time in the show field, but tried to stay out of the sun when possible.

I agree Saturday was a scorcher.  My daughter made a mint selling cold bottled water for 50 cents.  Maybe I should have taken cold water to sell instead of old rusty parts.   :scratchchin:

Believe it or not, less than $1,000, and that includes what I paid for the 2 Wood Grain Steering Wheel resto's.

cudahob, thanks for getting a pic of the 71 Charger R/T, don't have very many with the new 15" wheels and BFG Radial T/A's.

Any of you guys going down to Columbia this weekend???

MOPARHOUND!

Nope.  Wife has other plans  :-\ .  Have been to it in years past, and had a good time.

Next Mopar Show on the calendar for me is the All Charger National Meet in Jefferson City, MO Friday evening June 30th, and all day Saturday July 1.

I plan on trying to get there but I don't know if I'll be swapping or not.  It's a long and expensive trip if your dragging a trailer.   :-\  Is it a very big show?

Someone said last year the Father's Day Columbia Mopar show car count was around 125.  Don't know how big the swap was.
