The church behind the Hampton or the 3rd Hotel said it would be no problem as long as all trailers were gone by 7:30 am Sunday Morning. So keep that in mind. Just a little over a week. I hope I'm Ready we are getting the small details finalized.

Will there be a swap meet area?

Presume it will be okay to bring some parts to sell?  Or, is there a charge for a swap spot??

*"We normally wouldn't use a 383 for this build, parts and labor for a 440 cost the same."

There might be, but the Meet isn't open to general spectators from what I understand............

What I was thinking is trailering the 71 Charger R/T and putting some parts in the bed of the pick up, or front of the car trailer (it has an extra 4 feet of platform at the front).

Have a fellow Charger owner, and member of the T.D.C. registry, going without his car (not done), who was going to bring some 68-69 grilles, along with other parts.

At the Madison meet there were some members selling a few parts here and there. In general I don't think the meets draw enough spectators for "vendors" to justify attending.  I don't think Wayne objects if members try to sell stuff.

Do remember you have to be a member or coming with a member as one of there invited guest who have signed the waiver to get in.

Hey Mike (host),  My kid brother just called the Fairfield to check on his rooms and was told he wasn't booked.  He gave his confirmation number and was told it was cancelled.  He didn't cancel.  After some discussion he got one room back but they told him they are now overbooked by one room.  Some might want to check on their room bookings.  I checked mine and I'm in.  Just a minor problem.  Lee

Wayne and Donna have been checking into this they have had another couple with a similar problem. But hopefully it will be resolved soon. Did he reserve it with his credit card originally or just his word I assume his card. But they have had some who were suppposed to give there cards Numbers but never called back with them.  Just curious we think this is what happened in the other case. But I always recommend checking on reservations before heading out and check the start and stop dates too.

Backyard Burgers is good stuff, all kinds of toppings.   The Blackened Chicken sandwiches are the best.

This the address of the meet:

Coming from the west on US-50, would it be easier to cut across some city streets, or go to the middle of town and head back southwest to the fair grounds?

Mike,

I sent Wayne a couple of emails back in January/February inquiring about re-upping with TDC and attending the meet.  Never got a reply...

Is it out of the question to register as a member at the gate?  I sure don't want to crash Wayne's event if that sort of thing isn't wanted.

Gene

All I can say is call his house phone and talk to Donna. Wayne is out on the boat and hard to get a hold of. (bad reception)

I would not want to bet on it one way or the other. Wayne does not like to dissappoint people but he has Lightened up his restrictions a couple of times. Make the phone call and see, is all I can say.

Good evening Mike, John guaranteed with a credit card.  He was told the room was cancelled about two weeks ago.  Fortunately he had his confirmation number and only needed one of the two rooms he had reserved so he will be OK as long as his room is there when he arrives, and I don't have to bunk with him.  He's going to drag the yellow car down and it looks like we might be able to get a couple more first gen cars down.  I have to make a stop on the way down but will try to catch up with their caravan.  Getting anxious.

Blue Pentastar

Great I am looking forward to seeing everyone again. Any problems give me a call. I se what I can do to help.
