Here is a picture I took in early 70's when I was about 10 years old.  Big Willie and his street racers came out from California a couple of times to Great Lakes Dragway in Union Grove, Wisconsin.  A different paint scheme than the others were.  Thought you may find interesting, and I just joined the website today.

OMG i have been lookin for a pic of the queen daytona in that variation after it was f6 green for soo long, welcome to the site and thanx for the great pic , also that looks like a 1 piece smoked plexi glass window on the passenger side, would that make the passenger door useless??? that mean it was welded shut or what???

Glad you like the vintage picture.  I have no other info or stories to share unfortunately, it was a long time ago and my memory is not to good.  I plan on attending the Charlotte wing car meet, but my car will not be finished in time as I had planned.  Its debut will be at the Forge muscle car show it looks like in October.  It is a Superbird 440+6, auto, console, buckets, yellow, black interior.  I have known the car since mid-70's when I was 15 years old as it was parked in a field by a house by a favorite fishing spot on the Maumee River in Ohio.  I am 46 and bought the car 16 years ago and am finally getting around to restoring it and can't wait to DRIVE it.  Original engine, etc.  One of my other cars is the white 70 Roadrunner Pilot car, Hemi 4-speed,  that will be my next project after this is done. Been buying for years, now time to restore em and enjoy them.  Do need some Hemi carbs = help.

Well, if your serious, they do turn up for sale every now and again.  Watch the ads in MCG or check online.  There may still be kits out there to convert them.  If you really get desparate, I still have an owners manual (I had one in a Super Bee many years ago) around here someplace and even though it doesn't list dimensions of parts, there is a parts diagram included that would give you enough to be able to go to a machine shop and have the pump drive spider made.
