I got to meet Troy at Monster Mopar Weekend last year.

BTW: I was up in downtown Minneapolis on Friday for business. I would have liked to stop in but, I didn't really have any free time as it was an all day meeting. I had to get home to help my brother in law roof his house all day yesterday.

Did you guys get autographs? :icon_smile_big: Seriously, I think one of these days we need to have a big dodgecharger.com get-together in the middle of the country somewhere. Maybe Denver.

I'd be up for that.  Denver's only a days drive from me.
Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups.  Especially if they have access to the internet.

I made it there, but the car wasn't cooperating at all. :flame:

I was glad to meet Troy and see what a stand up guy he is. Can't wait to see it after you do the little bit of work to it your gonna do. Gonna be a neat little driver there.

I agree with Bull about a meet. We have a little group of Charger enthusiasts in town here. We are getting together for a Charger picnic on August 13th here in Minneapolis, MN. If anyone is close and would like more info, pm ITSA426, pocketthunder, or myself for info or directions. It is very informal. Just bring yourselves, your cars if you can, some food, and some stories for the sit around. A good time I think.

Hmmmm, I don't look sunburned at all in those pictures... :coolgleamA:

I had a really good time - although it was incredibly tiring. I got to meet several cool people, see a bunch of cars, and learned a new way to remove large amounts of bug guts from the front of a pickup the size of a barn. I must say that the engineers in charge of the toll roads in Chicago should all be fired and then forced to navigate their own mess every day for at least a month. I can't believe how lucky I am that I got to pay to go through that experience - and I even went through at 6 AM on Sunday so the weekdays must be something to marvel at. Other than that fiasco, I got pretty good gas mileage and made decent time for the other 1760 miles of the trip. I tried to get pictures of the car last night but I had to cut my photo session a bit short when I realized I was trespassing in the park. Here's the two pictures I did take:

I have a grill and a rallye hood and those hideous rubber bumpers are going away soon. If anyone wants to buy the wheels they'll be up for sale soon. It's really about a 20 footer but I wanted something (fairly inexpensive) to drive for the summer. I have wanted an e-body for a while and the timing worked out pretty good on this one.

It always makes me happy seeing you have fun with 'the others' aka people  :D
jk I'm glad you got it home safe, it's gorgeous. Now drop some of those worries you carry around (but leave the server running  :D ) and go have fun with that thing.
Wheels huh..they'd make mine a somewhat better roller for now and you wouldn't have to ship them. Unless someone really wants them, I just need more air in the tires..or what's left of those.

Why, the general is on blocks and the car is stripped, how do you think the Toy man pays for all this stuff?
