Anyone watch "Roadworthy Rescues" on Motor trend?

I see its been on for a few years but I just started watching a few episodes and I really like it so far. I am a fan of RoadKill and the spinoff shows, this one is similar but much more gritty and hacky if that's a word haha.

I get its a show but some of the things he does are hilarious, like spray bombing an engine and saying ok, there's the new cam, and will spray lower and say, rings are done! He's not trying to flip cars and screw people, its more like just finding cars that have not run in 40 years and getting them going again, giving them away to people.

Love some of the names he has for parts, reminds me of one of my old buddy's Dad who used to say stuff like sparkolator or lightning hoses etc.

Some of it is so cringeworthy though, like spray bombing an old carpet from blue to black or re covering seats without restoring the frames or just screwing/seam sealing in floor panels and so many other sins.

Anyone else catch the show?

Here is a shot of the host in case nobody knows what I'm talking about.

I just started watching this show. My favorite so far is the Deloreon episode. WINGNUT
HEMI Daytona Convertible

I've seen a few episodes.
I like that he has the guts to take on some long-dead projects. He seems to have some great skills at reviving cars.
The way that he talks though.... :eek2:
What some people find charming, I find really annoying. I'm not as tolerant as I wish that I were. Sometimes I have a hard time overlooking what annoys me.
Graveyard Cars is another example. I love that they work on exclusively Mopars but that show focuses too much on talking and stupid filler than actual restoration work.

Fair enough.  At least he went off script and isnt wearing baggy shorts with his flat brim baseball hat covering his ears like many other car shows  :smilielol:

and GYC, I'm with you there. I tried watching some episodes a few months ago and just wish they would spend more time showing the actual metal work, especially on the Chargers, where they were hanging quarters etc, you know like the guy on this forum with the Youtube channel, Chris B/Junkerup.
I think the last 2 really talented metal fab guys they had are now gone.  Ive been checking in on that show since episode 1.

Oh yeah, the flat bill hat pulled down to the eyes with ears tucked in might as well be a uniform for dorks. Again, I try to overlook stuff that annoys me but sometimes I just can't.
The dudes from Street Outlaws with the black hooded sweatshirts and denim shorts....again, all the guys dressing and looking the same as if they were on a sports team.
Awhile back, I'd see car shows on TV that almost always featured ONE guy with a mohawk and tattoos.
