Mounting a 69 C500 grille using original 68 Coronet parts

Good morning folks,

I have finally gotten my 500 out of paint jail after over 5 years (I know feel fortunate only 5 years) and it's time for reassembly. The car was parted out years ago so the original grill mounting hardware is gone. I was able to get a set of the Dayclona repop bracket to mount the grill itself several years back but nothing to mount the headlight buckets or surrounds so I will be feeling my way through that. I've heard it can be done using original 68 Coronet parts but I do not know anyone who has done it and my searches have been less than helpful.I can go from scratch but why reinvent the wheel if I can learn from others. Can some one point me to a comprehensive thread or article? If not I will try to document my adventure for the future. I reached out to member who had referenced doing in a thread and tried to email Dayclona but the email I have for him kicked backed.

Thanks in advance for any help, Kevin

I had a 68 Coronet parts car at one point and kept the center grill in case I ever wanted to try it myself
Also hacked out the Coronet head light mount part out of the Coronet fenders as the light bulbs themselves have a different spacing than Charger

Think I read someplace the coronet light parts mount in front of the Charger head light area to get them closer to the front of the fender opening
