Fusible Link Replacement???

OK, how do you replace a fusible link?  I've got a '68 Charger R/T, and the fusible link is broken off at the connector.  I can't figure out how to get the pin out of the connector.  I've seen the fusible links listed in the Year One catalog, so I assume it must be removable, but I can't get it to budge.  Do I have to buy a whole engine harness to fix this?

Thanks,

You have to disconnect the engine connector from the bulkhead and release the terminal from that side.  Buy a replacemant fusible link and when you look at the spade terminal end you'll see what keeps it in the connector.

It's not a midlife crisis, it's my second adolescence.

Bend/press to center the thinnest side of male spade terminal on bulkhead plug to be able to release from plug, and then install the new one just inserting it

Thanks,

It's out now.  It's in several pieces, but it's out.  Hopefully I didn't mess up the connector.  Year One was out of stock, so it'll be a while before the new one shows up.
