I will be heading to New Orleans on Monday and as usual, have scheduled some down time.  Does anyone know of any salvage yards in the area, say within 100 mi of New Orleans?

I do realize that there will be slim pickens as the floods from last Fall will have damaged the already old cars but I'd still like to poke around during my spare time.  I might just get lucky.

Of course if I do find some, I'll be happy to share some photos with you.

Any tips would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

nothing bud. there was a junkyard over in mississippi that had 3 68-69 chargers, but he crushed them for no reason probably 1 1/2 years ago now.. i got some stuff off, but they all still had motors/trannys(440, 383, and 318)..  what exactly would you be looking for? i think i know every salvage yard in the 150 mile radius, and the only mopars i know of now are a 73-74 satellite, 73-74 charger, i know where a couple 68-69 satellites are in terrible shape pretty picked, and maybe a couple dart's dusters. not much to call home about.. there is NOTHING around new orleans though.. these are all in nearby mississippi

Not looking for anything inparticular however, once I see a parts car, a list starts to form.   :icon_smile_big:

Thanks for the info.
