I don't have any experience with shoulder surgery, but I thought I'd say sorry anyway. I hope you recuperate fast.

The only time I've been hacked into was for a hernia fix...I hated that one. >:(

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

I had my right shoulder surgery two years ago. I tore my labrum while I was helping out some dockbuilders that were short handed that day, The dockbuilders were trying to tie off a barge, but were having a hard time pulling it in. As we were securing the barge, the tugboat pulled on the corner that we were tying to the dock. I held on to the rope cause the rope was wrapped around one of the dockbuilders body. I dislocated my shoulder and the dockbuilder suffered rope burns to his back and tore his sweat shirt and jacket right off his back. It could have been worse. The labrum is part of the soft tissue/flexible cartilage that keeps the shoulder knuckle in place and from dislocating. I had Dr. Peter McCann who works on the Knick's do the surgery. It was a success. Three little 1/2" holes on my shoulder, two hours in surgery,  a couple of anchoring pins in my shoulder bone for labrum re-attachment and two months of therapy and I'm good as new.

No sweat, I understand that doctors have rotator cuff surgeries down to a science and they are almost becoming routine. Get that injury taken care of before it gets worse, and it will if you don't do it. You will be OK and feel much better once is done. Good luck and say a little prayer for a quick recovery  :yesnod:
