Just for the sake of argument would this fit on a 383 and clear the inner fender on a second gen Charger ?

Think I have seen this on a second gen Charger before but a 440 and they had to notch the shock tower to clear on one side of the car

Saw it listed locally
Description
1960's Chrysler Long Ram intake, for big block Mopar, comes with intake, block off plates and cross over tube.

If you buy that type of manifold, you'll want to get the complete setup, linkages and all.  Gets pretty pricey

My first Charger was a Stock Car.

I have always wanted to build a twin turbo set up using these.

1970 Challenger R/T Drag Radial 528 Hemi

1970 Road Runner 383 4 BBL

After looking at the 440 set up pictures with these on it and how much they had to notch the inner fender I would think a 383 being less tall and less wide would make matters worse

Think I am going to pass on this foolish idea  :2thumbs:

Search for "Wawazat", a twin turbo cross ram 61 Belvedere.

They are big torque producers for lower rpm use. Would be a great addition to a truck for towing. While impressive looking, they suck for horsepower production and high rpm breathing compared to other more conventional manifolds.

ACUDANUT

Seems like a very long path, from carb to cylinders.  IMO it would decrease power.:scratchchin:
If they were so great, why did they only last a few years.  :shruggy:

As a kid, I found a stack of old car mags on a neighbor's garbage can. One mag had a write up of the new D500 with a Sonoramic 383. Chyrsler said it was like a free supercharger. The intake charges come in pulses that pile up in front of the intake valves waiting for them to open. The test in the 1/4 mile had a 0-30 time of 2.8 seconds with an open differential. Don't remember any of the other times. Even as a kid, I thought it odd that the tests were conducted with four men on board.

I guess being the setup from an RB block, still getting the full assembly the carb linkage ( if not other parts too ) will be a problem due the diff lenght between them on a B block :shruggy:
Venezuelan RT 74 400 4bbl, 727, 8.75 3.23 open. Now stroked with 440 crank and 3.55 SG. Here is the History and how is actually: http://www.dodgecharger.com/forum/index.php/topic,7603.0/all.html

Noticed these are the "short" long rams! They are not split the entire length of the runners.
This moved the power range up.   :Twocents:
I've never owned anything but a MoPar. Can you say that?

you could always model up something like this:
